NOT TO BE MISSED: FINANCIAL STORIES FOR THE WEEK!

Dear readers, how time flies, we are entering the middle of April 2022.

For last week, the highlight for Singapore stocks markets (and also Singapore) was none other than the appointment of Finance Minister Lawrence Wong as Singapore’s 4G leader, effectively paving the way for him to become Singapore’s next and 4th Prime Minister.

On the broader stock markets front, the stock markets continued to be volatile, so much so, that some have commented that a bone-dry recession is upcoming!

Amidst the lacklustre outlook for equities markets, there are still some recommendations from analysts, for example their recommendation on ten Singapore stocks to invest in for second quarter of 2022. Then, there are still seven undervalued Straits Times Index stocks that could be on radar of Singapore investors keen in discovering stocks which trade below their book value.

And with Chinese stocks generally in sell-down mode, should investors still consider investing in Chinese stocks? Let us hear from the analysts on their take for Chinese stocks!

For the week, I also shared with readers that I went back office and found myself totally shocked and also totally surprised! Visit the two aforementioned links to find out more!
