Dear readers, a Happy Chinese New Year to You and Family once again! Today is Day Two of the Chinese New Year and is both a public holiday and weekend. I know for some of you, next Monday may be an off-in-lieu for today (a public holiday) too. Congratulations on the extra-long weekend for you!
I am really enjoying the festive mood and holidays commencing from Thursday (11 Feb 2021) half-day holiday leave to tomorrow (yes, I will be returning back to work next Monday). This is really a good time for me to recharge and relax especially as the past few weeks have been hectic for me with an overwhelming work and a routine of spring cleaning for the Chinese New Year! But I am very pleased at the outcome of spring cleaning of my wife and I. The whole house definitely feels better and cleaner! And I have even managed to carve out additional space in a room and this to me is a feat since I have transformed the most cluttered room of the house into the most spacious room!
Beside visiting my parents, I have been spending time at home during Chinese New Year watching TV shows, snacking and catching up on my reading. This Chinese New Year for Singapore certainly looks quieter against the backdrop of Covid-19 Safe Distancing measures but I am convinced that the tradition of Chinese New Year remains strong! It is also refreshing and auspicious to feel the breezes during this Chinese New Year as they seem to augur that we will soon be ushering in better days for the world and Singapore!
Wishing You and Family Health, Peace and Prosperity for the New Year! Stay Strong mentally and physically!
