Dear readers, Chinese New Year is around the corner.
Beside working hard at work and spending hours after work in overtime work, I have been running round the neighbourhood and city areas, indulging myself in the Chinese New Year festive mood!
You can call it a stress reliver from my hectic work schedule but it is really interesting and joyful to soak in the festive season mood, looking at how places and things in Singapore are decked out in red. And not to mention, doing the common things when it comes to Chinese New Year like checking out Chinatown, buying Chinese New Year goodies, exchanging new notes for Hong Baos and visiting places of interest related to Chinese New Year.
Talking about Chinese New Year goodies, I have also been taking time to check out the supermarkets on an almost daily basis for the festive bargains!
Yes, some of the festive bargains are on a daily basis and rotate among the different goods and products.
One of the items that I manage to buy on bargain is a carton of drinks from a supermarket which was sold at almost half price.
And also recently, I managed to get my Chinese New Year shirts from an international brand at 40% off!
I welcome all the festive bargains rolled out by merchants as they add to the festive joys and help offset the high costs of living that many of us are facing now.
