Dear readers, tomorrow early morning 3am Singapore time, Croatia will face off Argentina in the Semi-finals of World Cup 2022.
I know Argentina is one of the two hot favorites (alongside France) to win the World Cup this time round and I also understand many fans like and support Argentina’s Messi. But I always believe that many have underestimated Croatia.
Croatia is not a dark horse against Argentina. I am not sure whether many remember that in the finals of 2018 World Cup final, France faced Croatia before France was declared the winner and Croatia the runner-up, a recap of World Cup 2018 matches here.
To me, it is always possible that Croatia will win the Semi-Finals and go on to be the Champion of this year’s World Cup!
Should Croatia win Argentina in the Semi-Finals and France win over Morocco, we will have a rematch of the World Cup finals back in 2018 with France facing off Croatia!
I always support the teams deemed underdogs in this year’s world cup. Hence I will support Croatia and Morocco. As to whether I will be placing some bets on either Croatia or Morocco team for the Semi-Finals, following my World Cup 2022 legal betting strategy as shared ; I will not be as now the odds are now not as high as before. I would also like to think of myself as a fund manager, who has since closed the accounts for the year and waiting for Christmas and the new year!
