Dear readers, we are already into February of Year 2022. Amidst the stock markets volatilities arising from the raising of the interest rates by the US Federal Reserves, let us take a look at the cheapest stock markets right now (as of market close on 4 Feb 2022).
In terms of Price-to-Book ratio and based on the stock market indices, the following are among the cheapest stock markets right now:
Hong Kong HSI: 1.02
Russia MICEX: 1.05
South Korea KOSPI: 1.07
Singapore STI: 1.15
Japan TOPIX: 1.22
While the above stock markets may be among the world’s cheapest, stock markets can still get cheaper if market volatilities are to persist.
