Dear readers, a Happy National Day to All of us right here in Singapore! Yes, today is the 55th birthday of Singapore and we celebrate the birthday of Singapore in this current climate of Covid-19 and economic uncertainties. Amidst the current backdrop, there are still reasons to be proud, to celebrate what our country has achieved so far and it is a day to rally all of us for the more challenging economic times ahead.
Having been cooped up at home most of the times in these recent months, I brought my family to see the mobile column consisting of the military tanks and vehicles as well as vehicles from the Home Team moving past our neighbourhoods this morning. Thereafter, we went to a nice Indian restaurant in the nearby shopping all to try their dishes for the first time. My kids had their favorite pratas while my wife and I had Tandoori chicken bryani. The food were super nice and we had an enjoyable time! After shopping for a while, we went to a KFC restaurant where we had frozen yogurt which was welcome in this super hot afternoon.
I am now resting at home and looking forward to bringing my kids to watch the fireworks in the neighbourhood tonight.
