Dear readers ,a Happy New Year once again to you and family!
How time flies, the first day of a brand new year is over and today is a nice little public holiday for all of us, before many of us head back to work tomorrow!
How have your New Year Day been? What are your first 2023 meals?
For me, as I have shared, my first lunch of the New Year goes to McDonald’s Prosperity meal for my family and I. This was also the item that I paid my first 8% GST for!
First dinner for this year was food fit for Kings and money well spent! My family and I had the following from a popular hawker centre for dinner:
BBQ chicken wing
Oyster omelette
Bak Chor Mee
Black Carrot Cake
Chicken and Mutton Satay
Each of the above dishes are one of the Best or the Best in Singapore and Best things, is that I paid just around $60 for the above Great food! And not to mention, with no 8% GST!
I feel blessed and grateful to still have such good food at good prices around!
And I hope such will be the case for many more good years to come!
Respect to All the humble hawkers who still do their craft on public holidays to bring Great food for celebration for Singaporeans!
