Dear readers, how time flies! We are entering April and into the second quarter of 2022!
Let us take a look at the key stocks and financial news for the week (21 to 25 Mar 22).
For the week, the most important development was the announcement of further Covid-19 re-opening of Singapore’s economy.
The announcement was positive for Singapore stocks including these top ten Straits Times Index (STI) gainers as mentioned here.
Also on the home front, the savings of Singaporeans have increased and this is definitely good news since inflation and cost of living nowadays in Singapore have become much higher.
The war in Ukraine is still ongoing and lives and livelihoods have been unnecessarily destroyed. Let us All pray hope the soonest end of the war in Ukraine and also for the betterment of the Covid-19 situation in the world!
