Dear readers, District 9 is often the highly-sought after residential address as it is known for prestige. The properties like villas and condominiums there are often at premium prices compared to other areas. Hence it is eye-catching for me to note that there are two condominiums sold at below $1 million each in recent weeks.
A Freehold condominium unit at Newton Edge was sold on 6 Apr 21 at $802,000. With an area of 441 Square foot, the selling price per square foot was $1,817.
Similarly, a freehold condominium unit at Wharton Vale was sold on 5 Apr 21 at $950,000. With an are a of 624 Square foot, the selling price per square foot was $1,522.
As we could see from the above, the unit at Wharton Value was effectively cheaper on a per square foot basis (and with a larger area).
There we have, the two condominium units at District 9 at below $1 million each!
