Are US stocks attractive now? Against the current trade wars between US and China? For this, I am of the view that right now, US stocks are not as cheap as before for Singapore investors since the USD has appreciated against the Singapore dollar thus upfront, a Singapore investor has to pay more in SGD dollars.
But for short-term trade, I will be looking out for US stocks which are Oversold and assess whether there is some attractive buying opportunity for a quick trade from there. Please do not get me wrong if I give you an impression that I am a trader. It is just that a good investor adapts his investing strategy according to what the stock environment demands from him.
