Dear readers, yesterday was the much anticipated $16 million Chinese New Year TOTO HongBao draw! I think some of you would have purchased the tickets for the TOTO as well; same with me but I have at most 2 of the winning rows in an entry. If you have won some monies arising from yesterday’s TOTO draw, a big congratulations to you!
In case you are not aware, yesterday’s $16 million prize was snowballed to $19,416,913 (yes, that’s right around $19.42 million) and this prize was shared by 8 winning shares so that each share was worth $2,427,114. Take note, that I did not mention 8 winners for reasons that I would mention later too.
An analysis of the 8 winning shares:
1 QuickPick System Roll Entry (1 share)
1 QuickPick System 7 Entry (4 shares)
1 QuickPick Ordinary Entry (1 share)
1 System 11 Entry (1 share)
iTOTO – System 12 (1 share)
As we can see from the above, 6 (or 75%) of the 8 winning shares were from QuickPick and 4 (or 50%) of the 8 winning shares were from QuickPick System 7 Entry! Thus, I would perhaps buy QuickPick System 7 next time for TOTO?
As for the 1 share of the iTOTO – System 12, based on how iTOTO-System 12 works, each winners will get 1 over 28 of the winning share per iTOTO-System 12 entry and that’s right in this case $86,682.64 and there were 20 units of the 28 units sold hence there were 20 winners.
