WILL THESE STRAITS TIMES INDEX (STI) STOCKS PLAY CATCH UP NEXT?

Dear readers, for year 2022-to-date, the Singapore stocks markets have performed well. As at 11 Feb 22, the Singapore Straits Times Index (STI) was up by 6.6% and the STI closed at 3,420 yesterday.

Are there any STI stocks which have not performed well, year-to-date?

Well, there are three STI stocks which are at the bottom three and the names of these stocks and their capital gains (year-to-date) are as follow:

Keppel DC Reit: -9.5%

Mapletree Commercial Trust: -8.5%

Mapletree Logistics Trust: -7.5%

Coincidentally, these stocks at the bottom are also Reits and Trusts and I am not sure whether their performance are due to the trend of rising interest rates too.

Will these Reits and Trust play catch up next?

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
