Dear readers, stocks markets have recently been sold off over concerns of the interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserves. This has raised thoughts among investors about whether we are on the cusp of the next stocks markets crash.
Before I go on, I just want to share with readers that many years ago, my teacher reminded me to prepare for the test next week. Still some years ago, my army instructor during my full time National Service days reminded recruits like me to train hard for the fitness tests. Just days ago, my boss asked me to prepare for the corporate audit.
You may ask why am I sharing all these with you? Well, the test, fitness test and corporate audit are something that since they are scheduled that we know which we prepare. But market crashes are something that nobody knows when will happen and that’s why many people do not prepare for them at all. It is always when stock markets crash that people ask themselves why they have been overly leveraged? Why they do not have that spare cash to take advantages of the stocks markets when they crash?
While nobody knows when stocks markets will crash, one undeniable fact is that things cannot perpetually head north forever. What goes up must come down. This is the evergreen law of nature.
The financial stocks markets last crashed in year 2009. Since then, stocks markets have been up for more than 11 years already. Prepare for the stock markets crash now! Build up your investment war chest. Delay instant gratification. That $1 spent on your snacks will be more than $1 you invest it into the stocks markets when they crash!
