Dear readers, welcome to Saturday once again! I love weekends for weekends offer me a quick respite from my hectic work. I not only have a large workload but have been working overtime, and over weekends for weeks and hence any short break from work is welcome.
For today, let us take a look at three developments that all investors must know right now!
First, US has reportedly entered into a technical recession, after 2 straight quarters of contraction in Gross Domestic Product. This definitely does not bode well for the global financial and stock markets.
Second, China is likely expected to miss its 2022 economic growth target of around 5.5%, after it was reported that the economy will try hard to achieve the best possible results this year. Again, this does not spell positive for the world’s economy.
Last but least, the much-watched possible visit by Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, which may spell short-term geo-political tensions for the world.
