THE HAZE IN SINGAPORE SEEMS BACK? WILL THIS STOCK RALLY NEXT WEEK?

Dear readers, yesterday I hesitated for a long time as to whether I should go for my regular jog. It did not rain yesterday and I was ready to jog. What I was not sure was whether the weather was suitable for me to have a long jog. This was because the weather looked hazy and there was a kind of smell that reminded me of haze. The whole weather also seemed so suffocating to say the least. After some deliberation, I decided not to jog outside but stayed at home.

This morning, when I read the newspapers, I knew my choice was correct as it was reported that the air quality here yesterday was in the “Unhealthy” range and yes, there was haze. In the past, whenever there was haze, investors tend to focus on one stock and speculate whether the stock would rally. Yes, this stock was Medtecs International stock. But Thanks to Covid-19, Medtecs International stock has become a multi-bagger rising to an all-time high of $1.98 in Aug 2020.

As of last Friday (26 Feb 21), Medtecs International stock traded at $1.10, almost 45% down from its 52-week high of $1.98. If haze is coming back, will this stock rally next week due to speculation?

For today, the weather does not look hazy and there was no hazy smell. However, I look at the PSI website and the PSI everywhere in Singapore was in “Moderate” range rather than “Healthy” range. I decided not to jog again but did some indoor weights exercise.
