SINGAPORE STRAITS TIMES INDEX (STI) BEST AND WORST PERFORMERS FOR THE WEEK

Dear readers, the Singapore Straits Times Index (STI) went down by 1.6% for the week ended 26 Feb 2021. Which STI stocks are the best performers? And which STI stocks are the laggards? In this post, I will have the low-down for you.

The top five best STI performers for the week with their weekly gain are as follows:

SIA stock (14.5%)

SATS stock (6.80%)

Sembcorp Industries stock (6.13%)

Jardine Matheson Holdings (JMH) stock (5.48%)

Hongkong Land Holdings sock (5.47%)

And the worst five STI performers for the week are:

Ascendas Reit (-3.61%)

Mapletree Industrial Trust (-3.97%)

Keppel DC Reit (-4.88%)

Venture Corporation stock (-5%)

Wilmar International stock (-5.21%)

Overall, the STI closed at 2,949.04 as on 26 Feb 2021. The 3,000 level for STI still continues to be a strong resistance to break through.
