Dear readers, if you have been reading my blog regularly, you would have noticed that I have been blogging quite a fair bit about the high cost of living and inflation in Singapore recently. This is really inevident as for one of the few times in my life, I can practically see the prices of basic food items increase and this really hurts my wallet.
Hence, against this high inflation and high cost of living environment, I have really become more mindful of what I eat and how much I pay for the food outside. For stall holders who charge me more than what is reasonable in this current high inflation time, I am very sorry to say to them I will no longer patronise their stalls unless I have no more food to eat. On the other hand, if there are food stalls that still offer delicious food at affordable prices, I will definitely visit them and more and even recommend them to readers like you.
Introducing Takagi Ramen, a Singaporean Ramen-brand that touts itself as “Ramen for the Average Singaporean”. When I chanced upon Takagi Ramen and had its most basic ramen called “Takagi Ramen” at just Singapore dollars $6.90, I was hooked and addicted to it!
Takagi Ramen is handmade Hakata-style firm ramen noodles in Takagi’s original Japanese Tonkotsu (pork bone) broth enhanced with a light shio seasoning infused with the subtle aroma of kombu and bonito. The ramen is topped with tender, slow-braised chashu pork slices, thinly sliced green scallions and blanched silver sprouts.
Very delicious Ramen and at just $6.90 nett, this is really a bargain! Also, there is something even unbelievable about dining in at Takagi Ramen outlets.
For a limited time, diners at Takagi Ramen outlets can order free top-ups of the Ramen noodles absolutely FREE! This is really good news for me as being a big eater, I can easily order 3 to 4 extra Ramen noodles every time I dine in there.
You can try Takagi Ramen and let me know what you think of the food there. Please note that I am not paid for this review of Takagi Ramen. Have a good weekends!
