Dear readers, the US stocks markets staged a powerful comeback with Nasdaq, S&P 500 and Dow Jones rallying more than 9% yesterday on the announcement of a slew of measures that US would take to combat the Covid-19 episode.
Should this mean that the end of the Bull run has not ended now and that the stocks markets wold continue to rally?
I would think that yesterday’s strong showing of the US stocks markets may be caused in part by short sellers covering. The Covid-19 episode has not ended. In fact, the WHO has just announced that Europe is the epicentre of the Covid-19 now.
Covid-19 aside, there are still some geo-political factors shaping the global stocks markets like oil, the state of the world’s economy.
I continue to hold a bearish view of the stocks markets.
