Dear readers, as at 27 Aug 21, the Singapore stocks markets, as measured by the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) has gained 8.3% year-to-date. Hence, if you have invested in the STI at the start of this year, congratulations to you. However, there are six other stocks markets which you would have wished to invest as they have provided investors with better capital returns year-to-date.
These six stocks markets, as measured by their stock indices are:
India Nifty: 19.4%
Vietnam VNIINDEX: 19%
US S&P 500: 19%
Eurozone Stoxx 50: 17.4%
US Dow Jones: 15.1%
Taiwan Taiex: 16.8%
