Dear readers, the application of the Singapore May 2023 Savings Bonds SSB will open in the coming weeks.
Savers cheered the April 2023 Singapore Savings Bonds as the average annual 10-year interest rate of the Apr 23 Savings Bonds finally defied the downward annual 10-year yield since Dec 22. To recap, the annual 10-year yield of the Apr 23 bond was 3.15%, which was much higher than the 2.90% for the March 2023 Singapore Savings Bonds.
With the US Federal Reserves signaling more interest rate hikes to come, I believe interest rates will continue to be on an uptrend. Hence, I believe, the annual 10-year average interest of the Singapore May 2023 Savings Bonds will continue to outperform that of Apr 23 Savings Bonds.
However, on the conservative side, I will give 3.25% as the annual 10-year interest for the May 2023 Singapore Savings Bonds.
Let us see whether my prediction for the May 2023 Singapore Savings Bonds is correct!
