MAY 23 GX23050W SINGAPORE SAVINGS BONDS (SSB): AVERAGE RETURN OUT!

Dear readers, the application of the May 23 GX23050W Singapore Savings Bonds (SSB) is now open.

The annual 10-year yield of the Singapore May 23 Savings Bonds is 3.07%, down from the 3.15% of the Apr 23 Singapore Savings Bonds!

In my previous post, I have still expected that the annual 10-year yield of May 23 Singapore Savings Bonds will be a tad higher than 3.15% given the still general uptick in interest rates. But I am surprised as 3.07% average annual yield for 10-years is really very modest.

Here is a look at the yearly yields of May 23 GX23050W Singapore Savings Bonds:

Year 1 to Year 7: 3.03% per annum

Year 8: 3.16%

Year 9: 3.21%

Year 10: 3.21%

Looking at the yearly yields make the May 23 Singapore Savings Bonds even more modest as an investor will just obtain 3.03% yield annually for Year 1 to Year 7 and has to wait till Year 8 to 10 for a slightly higher yield. More details of May 23 Singapore Savings Bonds.

Given the aforementioned, I believe May 23 Singapore Savings Bonds will not be appealing to savers. But more importantly, May 23 Singapore Savings Bonds is just an example of the declining interest rates for savers currently.
