Dear readers, two days ago, I just shared the possibility that SIA stock could be privatised (you could read the post here ). This morning, SIA stock halted trading and I immediately thought my suggestion that SIA could be privatised may indeed be a possibility.
For more details, at the session on the budget to combat Covid-19 this afternoon, DPM Heng said that SIA is considering a corporate action that will be supported by the major shareholder in Temasek Holding. And more details will be announced in due course. I hold on to my speculation of privatisation of SIA stock.
