Dear readers, for dinner yesterday, I had a good meal and saved some monies.
To reward myself for a day of hard work yesterday, I had a Mcspicy meal, that comes with 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, a cup of coke and a packet of fries.
What ought to have costed $12.35, was just $7 as this set meal was one of the set meals on discount currently from McDonalds and for limited period of time! I had enjoyed 40% discount for the meal and also felt happier after a wonderful but maybe not that healthy meal.
I don’t recall being a McDonalds kid when I was a young. As an adult, I also don’t really associate myself being a regular consumer of McDonalds. But as cost of most things start to increase swiftly and steeply, I feel grateful to McDonalds, for in my opinion, I feel that McDonalds has more or less maintained or only increased only very gradually the prices of their menus. And this is even more noteworthy, considering that some other fast food chains and even some toast chains have moved fast and furious with increases to their price menus.
At a time, when a meal of chicken rice these days can easily cost $5 with average portion of meat and rice, McDonalds set meals at $5 (the usual sets one can have at McDonalds, not discounted items) comprising a burger, packet of fries and a drink are really value-for-money. And to add, I also feel much fuller as compared to eating a small portion of rice or noodles and at elevated prices.
From today till 24 January 2024, enjoy value meals like $6 for filet-O-fish, 4 pieces of chicken mcnuggets, a packet of fries and a drink of coke.
