And you would know I hate those kind of food stalls that have increased price beyond the realm of reason. Definitely, we know many food vendors increase their food prices as a result of necessity in this environment of high inflation and high cost of living. But if food vendors increase their food prices beyond what can be justified from high inflation, I think our human and gut instincts kick in and are able to sense what they are doing. For such food vendors who charge exorbitant food prices, I would not patronise their stalls again.
Today, let me share with you one additional type of food outlets that I would avoid.
For this round, no issue with the food prices. Before I ordered the food, I knew how much to pay for the food and when the food came, I paid the food at the stated prices.
So what is my gripe? Well, when I placed my order and paid, I was told a waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes. But after waiting for 20 minutes, I started to keep close tabs on my order and kept asking the stall assistants when my order would come. I told them honestly that I have been waiting for more than 20 minutes, then 30 minutes and finally 40 minutes
My food came after 45 minutes of wait. I reiterated to the stall assistant that I waited for my food for 45 minutes despite being told a waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes. The stall assistant apologized for the long wait but precious time has been lost.
I hope all food shops do not take in more customers than they can handle, otherwise many precious hours of many people would be wasted.
