Reference to the September 2019 Singapore Savings Bonds where the 10-year average annualized yield is 1.95% , how would October 2019 Singapore Savings Bonds fare yield-wise? Not just against the 1.95% September 2019 bonds but also against the previous tranches of Singapore Savings Bonds where the common 10-year annual average is more than 2.1%?
Well, as expected, the return of the latest Singapore Savings Bonds is indeed lower so much so that the 10-year annualized average return is 1.75%. The first-year return of the Oct 2019 Singapore Savings Bond is 1.64% and this is also the annual average return for the first three years of holding the bonds.
