Dear readers, Maybank is currently having a fixed deposit promotion right now that may well be the highest in Singapore.
For a tenure of 24 month, under Maybank’s Deposit Bundle Promotion (Placement in Branch), Maybank is offering a 3.15% per annum interest rate.
For a tenure of 18 month, Maybank’s promotional interest rate is 3.30% per annum.
For a tenure of 12 or 15 month, Maybank’s promotional interest rate is 3.75% per annum. In this current backdrop of declining interest rates, Maybank’s fixed deposit interest rates stood out to me as one of the highest or highest in town.

Summarising how one could qualify for Maybank’s fixed deposit promotion. Let say you would like to deploy $100,000 for Maybank’ promotional fixed deposit interest rates, first you must deposit $10,000 into selected Maybank Current or Savings account (minimum $2,000), this will then allow you to deposit your $100,000 capital (ratio of 10:1 for deposit into Deposit Bundle versus selected Maybank Current or Savings accounts) into Maybank’s Deposit Bundle. The $100,000 in the Deposit Bundle will earn the 3.75% per annum fixed deposit interest rate.
I have yet to read of any local fixed deposit interest rate that are higher than 3.75% per annum, hence Maybank Fixed Deposit is likely the Best fixed deposit in town.
