Dear readers, during one of my recent jaunts for good and value-for-money food, I found myself in Lavender.
There are quite a number of good spots for nice food in Lavender like the Michelin Bak Chor Mee, some selected nice food in Old Miles food centre, however I am looking for new and unique good food. This is when I found myself at North Bridge Road Market and Food Centre.
Being new to this food centre (I have been here before but was just once or twice), I decided to check out the stall in the Food Centre with the longest queue. And it turned out that the longest queue was for the Lor Mee stall called Ke Shuang Xing Lor Mee stall.
There are different types of Lor Mee and I decided to go for the one with the most ingredients: yes, set No. 3 with Fried Fish and Chicken for $6. And what happened next was that I found myself tucking into a decent portion of nice Lor Mee (see top picture).
The Lor Mee was a mix of traditional and modern (chicken and fish fillet). I feel satisfied as the $6 paid for the Lor Mee gave me a serving of Mee and Ingredients larger than what many other stalls provide.
