Dear readers, Hong Leong Finance has released its October 2023 Fixed Deposit Promotions!
For a deposit amount of $20,000 to <$50,000, enjoy a 2.90% per annum for a 5-month tenure and a 12-month tenure each.
For a deposit amount of $50,000 and above, enjoy a 2.95% per annum for a 5-month tenure and a 12-month tenure each.
Definitely, as compared with the returns from the recent T-bills and Singapore Savings Bonds, the 2.95% per annum seem to be humble.
But as compared with the 2.7% per annum interest from OCBC and UOB fixed deposits which are bigger banks’ deposit, the 2.90% and 2.95% per annum from Hong Leong bank seems to be decent.
And it is always good for savers to diversify their savings across fixed deposits from different banks to diversify risks (if any) as well.
