FREEHOLD CONDOMINIUMS AT LESS THAN $700K REVEALED!

Dear readers, there were two recent transactions involving freehold condominiums that caught my attention for their lower-than-expected sale price.

A 377 square foot Freehold unit in City Loft, District 8, was sold on 30 Aug 2021 at $600,000. At this price range, the selling price translated into $1,591 per square foot.

City Loft was completed in year 2014 and comprised 40 units across 6 floors.

In the same district, a slightly bigger square foot Freehold unit (452 square foot) in R66 Apartments was sold on 27 Aug 2021 at $670,000 or $1,482 per square foot.

R66 Apartments was completed in year 2007 and comprised 34 units.

The two freehold units though sold at low prices were not the lowest in terms of selling price per square foot.

Over the same period, the lowest selling price per square foot for a freehold unit sold in District 8 on 29 Aug 2021 was from Bliss Regalia at $830,000 for a 646 square foot unit of $1,284 per square foot.

Despite these freehold condominiums below $1 million, I find the size of them a tad small. Ultimately, it depends on what the buyer of properties have in mind for choosing a particular property.
