FEBRUARY 2020 SINGAPORE SAVINGS BONDS

Dear readers, the February 2020 Singapore Savings Bonds is now out for application. As compared to the January 2020 Singapore Savings Bonds, the 10-year average annualized bonds for the February 2020 bonds is slightly lower at 1.75% (compared to 1.76% for the January 2020 bonds). The annual return for the first three years of the February 2020 bonds is 1.54% which is slightly higher than that of the 1.52% for the January 2020 bonds. In short, I would think that there is no much of a difference in terms of returns between the February 2020 and the January 2020 Singapore Savings bonds.

As I have shared with readers late last month, there was an increased interest among savers for the January 2020 Singapore Savings Bonds compared to that for the December 2019 Singapore Savings Bonds. In view that the geopolitical uncertainties in the world have flared up, I believe savers would continue to welcome the February 2020 Singapore Savings Bonds even though the returns are really not as attractive. But we may be seeing that overall, the returns for all financial products may be heading south in view of the more and more uncertainties that come to the fore for the global economy.

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
