Dear readers, Euro 2020 which commenced from 11 Jun 2021 is now ongoing. As the name of the tournament suggests, Euro 2020 has been postponed to this year and the postponement is done other than due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
I still remember being excited at Euro 2016 and place some wager on my favourite teams via Singapore Pools back then. As it turned out, some of the obvious stronger teams in the tournament actually lost. And some of the apparent weaker teams (defined in the international ranking) became victorious. This was when I realized that the ball is round, figuratively.
Hence, I refrained from placing wager for Euro 2020. A dollar wagered will be a dollar lost if the team you are placing bet on loses. I will prefer to invest in good quality stocks instead as I will be able to hold the stock for at least some time before exiting for profits, hopefully.
