Dear readers, the US Presidential Election is coming. Investors’ attention is undoubtably centred on who will become the next US President. This is inevitable given the scarcity of news and catalysts that shape the stocks markets. In view of the seemingly lingering Covid-19, investors need a fresh dose of news to make sense of and predict the stocks markets.
From my reading, it seems that the majority predict that Biden will win the US Presidency. I recall similar juncture of history some four years ago when many believe Hillary Clinton will win the US Presidency 2016. And many think that Donald Trump will not win. But came the US 2016 Presidential Day, Donald Trump became US President and many people were surprised.
Many have also predicted that the US stocks markets will go south once Donald Trump win the US Presidency 2016. But what we have noted was the reverse: the US stocks markets have risen since 2016 decently.
So will it matter whether Trump or Biden win the next US Presidency? Will the stocks markets correct should Donald Trump becomes re-elected as US President again? Or has the stocks markets already priced in a Biden win now?
All these to me are not important. What is important is that when the stocks markets next correct or crash, you will take out your investment warchest, invest in the stocks markets at great discounts and be Kings of the stocks markets when the markets become normalised once again.
