Dear readers, the much-anticipated 2024 Chinese New Year TOTO Hong Bao Draw 2024 came to a draw (literally and figuratively) yesterday.
And I believe many of you would have known the results by now: 4 very lucky winners shared the grand prize of $12 million, each getting a very generous $3.088 million!
In a previous post, I shared how one could spend around $10 million to bet all the possible permutations of 6 numbers from 49 numbers to be confirmed the winner of the grand prize. However, I also cautioned that in such a mega TOTO draw, there are always bound to be more than one winner, and hence the winner of the top prize will still in effect be on the losing end.
I am correct! Even if there is an individual with monies to spend $10 million on the TOTO draw yesterday, he will only get around $3 million after sharing the prize monies with the other prize winners: the result will be he won but lost Big Big to the tune of $7 million!
I have been keeping track of just how much I spend on TOTO, as with on other expenditures. Year-to-date this year, I spent $16 on TOTO and have won nothing!
My tracking enables me to ensure that I do not necessary spent too much on HOPE and maybe you can wish to consider tracking on this too!
