YUU APP: WHY I SIGNED UP?

Dear readers, when I first saw the advertisement for Yuu App, featuring none other than Singapore’s beloved contractor, Phua Chu Kang, I did not think too much of the advertisement or even the app. This is because, I (and also think for many others) are simply having had too many apps to use and track in our daily lives.

Yuu App to me is really one app too many, even though with the use of Yuu App, one can technically save monies.

It was only recently that when during a trip to Giants supermarket, that I was told that my Passion Card was not allowed to be used to chalk up credits that I rethink of my intention not to have another app like Yuu App. To be entitled to credits from the use of Passion Card, one must link the Passion Card to Yuu App, as advised to me by a Giants supermarket staff.

I literally felt the pain when I cannot technically save some monies, could be just few cents per transaction with my trip to Giant when I could. Hence, without further hesitation, reaching home after my Giants Supermarket trip, I downloaded Yuu App and linked my Passion Card to the App after a relatively easy sign up process.

As Yuu App allows one to chalk up credits at several other stores like 7-Eleven, BreadTalk, my onboarding of Yuu App actually allows me to save even more since my passion card alone will not entitle me to a number of credits or savings that could be earned from those other stores.

Yuu App is one app that I don’t mind to download and install for if we can save monies every time we shop at the many popular shops that are partners with Yuu, why not?

[Note: this is not a paid advertisement, but my own candid review]
