Dear readers, today is 12th of December. Do you know today is one of the two dates every year, that Singaporeans are advised to check their windows? The other date is 6th of Jun every year as advised by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA). Do you also know that if a window falls due to lack of maintenance, owners can face a fine of up to $10,000 and/or jail term of up to one year or both?
Earlier this year, during the Chinese New Year spring cleaning, I noted a glass in a window pane of my house has become disjointed from the rubber sealing. The affected window was also not able to be closed fully. I contacted a number of suppliers related to window repairs and even went down to their sites before I found one window repair supplier that managed to resolve the issue effectively and at affordable prices. The window supplier was also registered with BCA.
Wee Ping Aluminium Contractor was the contractor which I contacted and their service was excellent.
