WILL STOCKS HEAD UP NEXT?

Dear readers, there has been positive developments in the US, China trade tension developments with China saying that it has agreed with US to cancel tariffs in phase. The developments signal that of a possible thaw in the longstanding trade war between US and China. And I believe it is likely that the positive developments could be a catalyst for stocks to head up next.

However, notwithstanding a possible thaw in the US-China trade tensions, it is still likely that the stocks markets corrections will still come after close to a decade. This possibility is because fundamentals of the global stocks markets have turned for the worse. We are already seeing the slowing of economies from several countries big and small.

Hence, always remember to be on the alert since we are now investing against a new volatile stocks markets backdrop. Whether or not the stocks markets will become good or worse do not depend on the outcome of the trade wars development per se (like what many have now become accustomed to thinking so). Always look at the overall macro factors.
