Dear readers, recently, I received an email from a staff of the bank where I have saving plans with. The staff identified himself as a Wealth Planning Manager.
The email address of the Wealth Planning Manager’s email was legitimate after my check. But I was very surprised since I did not ever ask for Wealth Planning services or advice from the bank. I was even angry that the bank has actually assigned a Wealth Planning Manager to me without even checking with me whether I need one.
I hope the above initiative from my bank is not one of the ways for the bank to grow at all costs, especially since it is one of the listed three banking counters on SGX, without ever considering about the feelings of customers.
I was left very disappointed with this bank.
