singapore Straits Times Index stocks

WHICH STOCK MARKETS ARE STILL GAINERS NOW?

Dear readers, the current volatilities in the global stock markets have sent a number of stock markets around the world heading south and that includes the Singapore’s Straits Times Index (STI).

The STI closed -4.9% year-to-date this year last Friday (21 Oct 22).

Against this current macro economic backdrop, there still exists a number of stock markets which have performed above average. Each of these stock markets still managed to achieve a positive gain for the year-to-date. Let us take a look at these stock markets.

First, Brazil IBOVESPA. Brazil IBOVESPA closed 11.8% as of last week.

Second, Indonesia’s JCI. The JCI managed a gain of 6.6% year-to-date, as of previous week.

Last but not least, India’s NIFTY, which gained 1.3% year-to-date last week

Have you invested in any of the above three stock markets?
