Dear readers, Year 2021 is drawing to a close. Let us take a look a look at which of the Singapore Straits Times Index (STI) stocks are the best performers for Year 2021 to-date.
The top five STI performers with the largest capital gains year-to-date (excluding dividends) are:
Hongkong Land stock (40.3%)
YangZiJiang stock (39.2%)
DBS stock (29.9%)
UOB stock (21%)
Sembcorp Industries stock (19.7%)
Hongkong Land stock is the top STI winner for Year 2021 to-date. Singapore’s banks also have done well with DBS stock, UOB stock making it into the top 5 STI performers for year 2021.
What about OCBC stock? Well, OCBC stock has also done well for Year 2021 to-date, with a capital gain of 16.1% and that makes OCBC stock the sixth top performing STI stock for Year 2021 to-date.
In a nutshell, Year 2021 is a good year for DBS stock, OCBC stock and UOB stock to-date.
