So, for today’s post, Apples! Yes, Great and Simple fruits which are healthy snacks for All.
As an apple lover, I have been regularly buying apples and in doing so, I have been keeping a close tab on the prices of apples sold at supermarkets.
From what I have noticed, the average price of one apple is now about 60 cents per apples. And most of the times, these days, apples are sold in packets.
From my experience of buying packeted apples, I have noticed that among the apples in a packet, there are most likely one or two apples which are not as fresh as others. Worst, the apples can be literally rotten apples. The worst that I have seen are customers unpacking packed apples from different packets and choose the best apples from each packet to form one packet of good apples! Signs of these are packets of apples that do not close properly or already open.
Recently I have discovered where to get cheap and good apples and best of all, one can choose the apples one wants as the apples are unpacked.
The good and cheap apples are the Blue Whale apples from Giant supermarkets at five apples for $2, which mean a Blue Whale apple costs just 40 cents an apple! And the apples are crunchy and juicy!
As I eat these good apples, I am also happy in saving some monies. Best of all, I am able to earn some Yuu points too to multiply the value in my purchases!
