Dear readers, are you thinking of what to do with your books, those no longer required, and found arising from your Chinese New Year spring cleaning?
Well, the best and most reasonable option will be to donate or give these books away.
There exist many options where one can donate books or pre-loved books. For myself, I prefer an option where I can simply head down to a place and drop off my books for donation.
And there are options to do so. One of these options is none other than to donate the books at the book exchange corners found in select National Library Board (NLB) libraries on the island as below.
- Ang Mo Kio Public Library
- Bedok Public Library
- Bishan Public Library
- Geylang East Public Library
- Jurong Regional Library
- Jurong West Public Library
- Queenstown Public Library
- Toa Payoh Public Library, and
- Woodlands Regional Library
In fact, I have had several books found during my Chinese New Year spring cleaning no longer required. I brought these books to one of the above book exchange corners. The process is fast and simple.
And I am also happy that these books will find good use again by those who need them! I also feel Great to do a small part to helping Mother Earth too!
