Dear readers, today is the first working day of May 23 and as the cliché goes, how fast time flies! Let us take a look at the UOB Fixed Deposit promotion for the month of May 23 as below.
For a deposit amount of $10,000 and above, UOB is offering a fixed deposit promotion of 3.45% per annum for a tenor of either 6-month or 10-month. The above promotion is available from 2 May to 31 May 2023, both dates inclusive. More details of the fixed deposit promotion can be found on UOB webpage.
The above fixed deposit interest is 0.1% per annum lower than what UOB offered for its fixed deposit for Apr 23 as back then, the fixed deposit return was 3.55% and I believe the same trend would be for fixed deposit promotions from other banks as most banks are likely to adjust their fixed deposit promotional interest rates.
