Dear readers, the US stock markets declined significantly yesterday:
Dow Jones: -1.95%
S&P 500: -2.08%
NASDAQ 500: -2.48%
Among the various reasons cited for the decline were the US midterm elections, US inflation data and some movements in the cryptocurrency sector.
If investors have some convictions on the larger trend of the stock markets, then I believe the day to day gyration of the stock markets should not matter much. And hence the above stock markets developments are something that investors should not need to know.
For myself, I see the broader stock market trend as southwards and I believe I am one of the many investors who are waiting for some opportunities in the stock markets.
