Let us take a look at the Straits Times Index (STI) gainers and losers for the trading week ended 22 Oct 2021.
The top five STI stocks with the most gains and their % gains for the week are:
Hongkong Land stock: 4.18%
Sembcorp Industries stock: 4.08%
DBS stock: 3.16%
DairyFarm International stock: 3.13%
Jardine Matheson Holdings stock: 3.12%
As we note from above, three of the top five gainer stocks are Hong Kong centric. I believe these three stocks made the rebound as part of the general rebound of Hong Kong stocks last week.
And now, for the worst five performing STI stocks and their % losses, they are:
Keppel DC Reit: -1.65%
Jardine C&C stock: -1.69%
ComfortDelgro stock: -1.89%
Genting Singapore stock: -1.89%
SIA stock: -4.50%
