STRAITS TIMES INDEX (STI), SINGAPORE STOCKS: WHAT TO KNOW (27 NOV 22)?

Dear readers, the Singapore stock market benchmark indicator, the Straits Times Index (STI) closed the week 0.85%, at 3,244.55 as at 25 Nov 22.

Based on the Relative Strength Index (STI), the STI is in a neutral RSI zone, between the 50 to 70 RSI region.

For the week, the top five STI gainers and their weekly gains were as follows:

YangZiJiang stock: 10%

Sembcorp Industries stock : 4.58%

Jardine Matheson Holdings stock: 3.40%

Hongkong Land stock: 1.26%

Keppel Corporation stock: 1.21%

The top five STI losers and their weekly losses were below:

Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust:-2.86%

SGX stock:-2.88%

Mapletree Industrial Trust:-3.04%

Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust: -3.51%

Mapletree Logistics Trust: -4.24%

YangZiJiang stock remains the best STI stock, year-to-date with a year-to-date return of 118.1%.

On the other side of the spectrum, SATs stock was the worst performer, with a year-to-date return of -31.1%.
