STOCKS MARKETS CRASH: WHY IT MAY HAPPEN?

Dear readers, will a stocks markets crash occur this year? After almost a decade of bull run since the last global stocks markets financial meltdown? Ironically, when US President Donald Trump took office in year 2016, many were expecting that markets would head south. But the stocks markets defied the expectations of many and delivered a good performance under President Trump’s term of Presidency to-date. With the US Presidential Election coming soon, the markets will be looking at how the outcome of the US Presidential Election will shape the global stocks markets once again.

We are just into year 2020 and so far, the markets looked good. The US and China has sealed a phase 1 trade pact never mind the pact seems not concrete enough. And the US-Iranian tensions seemed to have simmered down.  So, in what way could a stocks markets crash happen then?

Ahchoo! Ahchoo! As I was typing this post, I am having a running and stuck nose. I was not alone as in the office, a number of colleagues were sneezing. And in public buses and trains, I noted many were experiencing similar symptoms. To have many in Singapore having cold or flu related symptoms would not be a joke since at this time where the Wu Han flu seems to be spreading overseas, we would not want to have our mass immunity down.

And that’s what worry me and perhaps many investors most: the likelihood of the coming of another episode like the SARS which not only endangers lives and also causes affected stocks markets and economies to head south.

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
