Dear readers, the stocks markets these days are generally rather bullish more than bearish. A spate of positive news like Biden’s Presidential Election win, the RCEP deal, positive development in Covid-19 vaccine here and there; all these have led to markets higher. The Straits Times Index made an impressive comeback from the 2,500 lows to over 2,700 mark.
But beyond all the euphoria, I believe that stocks markets currently are more confused than ever and they are riding on all traces of positive news to go higher. And this is in turn boosted by the low interest rates generally so much so monies have gone into the stocks markers in anticipation of higher returns.
The seeming uptrending stocks markets will entice some investors in while investors are waiting on the fence. To me, the choice is clear, stocks markets are confused and so are investors. When everyone least expect it, the stocks markets will undergo a correction, one that is more than a decade-in-waiting.
The wise investors will wait for the perfect time to enter the stocks markets.
