Dear readers, recently I visited a coffeeshop for breakfast and ordered some steamed buns.
Looking at the picture menu, a large steamed bun costs $1.90 and a chicken steamed bun cost $1.10. I also saw that a custard steamed bun costs $1.
Initially I would like to order one large steamed bun but after doing some calculations, I went ahead with one chicken steamed bun and a custard steamed bun for $2.10.
When the order came, I was shocked! Both the buns were mini in size and were not filling at all for me! This explains the difference of 80 cents between a large steamed bun and a bun which was not indicated as large.
At $1 a bun and given the size, the chicken and custard bun are more expensive than those sold elsewhere. The stall should have indicated that both the buns are small and this will have moderate the expectations of customers.
I would not visit the stall again as again, as I would not like to be misled into forking out my hard-earned monies on my purchases of meals. Instead of feeling satisfied and filled after the meal, I still felt hungry and disappointed as well as angry.
