Dear readers, let us take a look at Six oversold Straits Times Index (STI) stocks for the week ended 5 Mar 2021. Without further ado, the six oversold STI stocks are:
Ascendas Reit
Keppel DC Reit
Mapletree Industrial Trust
Mapletree Logistics Trust
Thai Beverages stock
Venture stock
As we could see from the list above, four of the oversold STI stocks are Reits or Trusts. I believe these Reits and Trusts are oversold partly because of the rising US interest rates as the rising interest rates increase the cost of debt for Reits and Trusts.
Should the interest rates increase, will Singapore Reits and Trusts be similarly feel the effects?
