Dear readers, Singapore weather these days has been very hot! If you are outdoors, you will know what I mean. The heat and humidity is no laughing matter. And some more, these days, many of us are all masked up and without too much fresh air into our bodies, it feels a bit suffocating.
Truly, I feel it rather challenging walking outside in the hot sun, wearing a mask even if I try to walk a little slower. It is simply too hot and after exposure to the sun, I feel a bit dizzy. Feeling dizzy even when I hold an umbrella to shield against the rays of the sun!
As I was writing this post, I heard the radio DJ report: “The weather outside is at a high of 34 degree Celsius.” This, I could not believe it. The very last time when I actually caught a high temperature forecast was of 33 degree Celsius, and now we are 1 degree Celsius hotter!
I strongly encourage all readers to take care of yourself by adopting the following in this increasing hot climate of ours by adopting the following:
a) drink lots of water, always bring a large water bottle filled with plain water when going outdoors. Drink beyond the point of thirst. Our bodies lose water easily in such hot weather
b) use umbrella when you are outdoors. For guys, this may seem girlish but who cares when it comes to protecting our bodies. At least for me, as a guy, I use an umbrella outside. Too much exposure to the sun is not good for the skin, it causes skin to age faster and some even say too much sun exposure may lead to skin cancer.
c) use Sun Screen to protect your skin from overexposure to sunlight
Please take care my fellow investors and readers. I am not at all surprised if feeling too hot makes an investor anyhow invest too.
Finally, I went to find out more information about Singapore’s weather in the coming days (I thought November will be cooler as we approach Christmas) and found the following weather forecast video.
According to the man in the video, there will be more thundery showers in the period to 15 Nov 2020. If the forecast is correct, this is definitely very welcome!
